  2. Install "Alcohol" like any other application. (it needs a reboot to install)

  3. After installing "Alcohol", Put a "PSX" disc into your cd/dvd drive.(for this guide im using "Tony Hawks")

  4. Now, Open "Alcohol" if not already open.

  5. On the left hand side of the menu, under "MAIN", select "Image Making Wizard".

  6. When a new window opens, select the drive your psx game is in.

  7. Next at the bottom of that window also you will see "Data Types", Scroll through that menu & select  "Playstation", Then press next.

  8. In the next menu, under "Image Location", select were you want the image saved to. (im going to save it on my desktop)

  9. Under "Image Name", write your games name there. (for me its "Tony Hawks")

  10. Under "Image Format", Select "CloneCD Image file .CDD".

  11. Hit the "Start" button, to start reading the cd onto your Hard Drive.

  12. If you get disc read error, please go back to step 7, over "Playstation", select "Skip Read Error"
    and carry on from there.
Note: Games may not work if a crucial file if skipped but most of the time it works ok.

  13. After it finishes, exit "Alcohol", then check were you saved the image(mines on desktop), there should be three files there a IMG, a CDD & a SUB file, thats it its completed it on your hard drive now. (next is converting it to psp format)

  2. Extract the download to a new folder. (use winrar to extract the file, google will find it for you)

  3. Open "Simple Popstation GUI", Under "PSX Image File", Select the .IMG file you made from ""Alcohol(mines on desktop).

  4. Under "Output Folder", leave it at default, so the converted image with be left beside the original image.

  5. Under "Compression Level", choose the level you desire.

  6. There is a few minor, other options but i'm skipping them now as they are for advanced users.

  7. Press "Go", A message may come up if your games pal, select yes for it to continue, then let it convert the image to eboot(psp form) form.

  8. When finished, the application will ask do you want to transfer the game to psp, press yes and have usb enabled on psp(you can choose no if you want).

  9. Once finished transferring, go to your game menu on psp, the game will be found there, then press "X" to start.

  10. To manually put the file onto your psp's memorystick, just go to were you saved the image to when using alcohol, beside that should be a folder with the same name as your game, it has an Eboot.pbp within. Drag or copy that folder to X:\PSP\GAME\ on your memorystick(X is your psp drive letter). Then follow step 9 again.

Note: If you want icons for the games, there is an option to add them in Simple PopStationGUI. Here is
some premade one for you's: Download
